Book Sale in Algiers this Friday & Saturday, Dec. 5 & 6

The Friends of New Orleans Public Library is expanding its popular Westbank used book sale from one day to two, bringing book bargains to the Algiers Regional Library. Cash, cards, and Venmo are accepted.

“We’re looking forward to giving our patrons two days to find some bargains while supporting the library,”  says Shannan Cvitanovic, Executive Director of the Friends. “We know that people are getting ready for holiday gift giving, so we wanted to be sure to give our West Bank patrons an opportunity to take a look at some of the great used books that we have available”

Shoppers can expect to see used books of all genres, from local interest and history to children’s books, cookbooks, and all types of fiction.

Where: Algiers Regional Library, 3014 Holiday Drive

When: Friday, December 5, 10am-4pm & Saturday, December 6, 10am-3pm
